I have honestly never understood the whole "Love to Hate" thing. I either like someone, or I don't. And if I don't like them, I don't want them on my screen.

There are some I "love to hate" (Will, because he was so darn charming) and some I just hated and wanted off my screen (Boogie, because he was so darn slimey). :D

I have to preface this by saying I did not watch Will and Boogie's first season, so I can only judge by what happened in All-Stars.

I do not think that Will was ever evil. He was smart, charming and manipulative, and played off of people's insecurities brilliantly, all to help his friend win $500,000, which in a way is admirable (too bad his friend isn't worth it, but more on him later). He has a natural talent to read people, and figure out what's going to get to them. When All-Stars started, I thought I would hate Will from everything I'd ever heard about him, but I just couldn't. Yea, I didn't like that he played my favorite, Janelle, but she's as much to blame for falling for it. I always felt he was very transparent, and shame on the entire cast for not seeing it. I couldn't hate him for that.

As for Boogie, now there's evil. He's a jerk. I tried giving him the benefit of the doubt because he was Will's friend, and I the more I got to "know" Will, the more I thought he'd have better taste in friends. Boogie is a leech. I am convinced that one day Will's usefullness will end, and Boogie will burn him, hard, without a second thought. The man has no integrity, whatsoever, and I cannot appreciate that.

I can't buy into the whole idea that "it's a game show" and "how they behave in real life is different". I call bull**** on that. If I were to be on BB or any other reality show, I don't think I could compromise my integrity, or my nature because I have family out in the real world who would be horrified if I behaved the way that some of these people do.

I guess it comes down to a matter of respect. I can respect Will's game play, but I can't respect Boogie's. If I was one of his business partners, I would be really concerned about how he was going to try to screw me, and I'd never be able to trust him. If he can be such an ass with millions of people to witness it, what's he capable of when no ones looking.

Besides...Will is cute and charming, and Boogie is...well not.;)

I hardly remember the first season Will was on...I did watch, it was just so long ago.

Will lied and cheated everyone in the house practically, so why isn't he as hated as other who have done the same? I guess you can answer that question by asking why (most people) hated the Nerd Herd! Will never tried to say he was playing the game more honestly than everyone else. He told everyone straight up that he was going to lie to everyone there, they just chose not to listen. Oh, and he never really lied to America about how he was playing the game. He's a smart guy.

Will lied and manipulated in order to go farther in the game. That is the objective. What makes him different, is that he treated it as a game and he treated the other houseguests as players!! If only everyone would was able to do that, and seperate it from real life, then we could see a real game played by entertaining people. But as we know that is just a dream.......

After the finale last year in an interview, Boogie said something along the lines of "Will lies to everyone and is idolized, I go in and do the same thing and I am made out to be a horrible person" (not exact words but the gist of what he said). I didn't like Erica, at all, but I still feel the way he did her was beyond game play.

I didn't watch the first 2 seasons of BB. I was a late bloomer. But Will was definitely one that you loved to hate. He played the game and the everyone else. They had chances to get rid of him but he played them so good. Now Boogie.. hated him.. he really did play Erica.

Boogie's speech to the jury was flawless. He definitely earned the win. At least he expressed remorse in the DR about Erika.

She was a fool for not reading the "eww, get away from me" signs Boogie was putting down.
