What Was Adam Doing?

Any ideas as to why Adam was turned sideways and staring at the partition wall in his phone booth before the HOH competition started?

For a few weeks now, every time CBS has the "phonebooth" set-ups I have noticed Adam stands in them awkwardly. I have been thinking maybe he is somewhat claustrophobic and feels uncomfortable even in the "phonebooths". Just a thought. :) What does everyone else think??

Looked like to me he was trying to remember the numbers of everything in the house cause I've always seen him listening to nat rant about the numbers lol

I have noticed this also. As stated above, he has done this every time there was a phonebooth-style comp. I think he might have a hearing problem, and that's his good ear. Just a thought...

I noticed he always turns his head too. I had the same thought with the hearing problem. He pretty much always turns to the same side doesn't he?

I think the hearing theory is a good one. Being someone who has a hard time hearing in one ear it seems the most logical thing. They always seem to have a hard time hearing Julie anyways.

As far as reading off the podium, I think in comps where they are picking answers from a list, such as the quotes comp and previous hamster comp, they have a list of possible answers attached to each podium for all of them to refer to.

That was my take on it, I had a college roommate deaf in one ear and they turn more than you would think to offer their good ear.

Did anyone hear the conversation last night when Adam said something about a car accident and still having glass his head? I was half listening and doing something else at the same time, so that's all I caught. Maybe that has something to do with his hearing?

For that HOH they had a list of all of the houseguests names listed that were possible answers for the questions that they were asking. I saw someone on the other side of the podium look down as well (though for the life of me I can't remember exactly who ~ but I believe that many of them did). I believe that it was put on each podium side, there for all to use. :)

I'm leaning toward the whole hearing issue theory. There are times when Adam appears to be straining to listen to the other HGs. At first, I thought he was just a doofus. Now, (even though I still think he is a dope) I just wonder if he can't hear all that well.
