Happy Easter Everybody!
She may be the most boring girl in America and has a laugh that can shatter glass, but Sharon just may be the one to beat this season. She's played an incredibly smart game, and has successfully flown under the radar all season long. More and more she reminds me of Maggie.
Not only has she positioned herself well in the house, but she's now in the process of positioning herself well with the jury. If the "good people" win HOH this week, then their targets are James and Joshuah - not Sharon. If she (or anyone on her side) wins, she's safe for at least another week, and will be instrumental in voting out whomever she perceives to be her biggest threat of the nominees. Both Nat and Sheila think she'll swing over to their side (yeah, right), and both Ryan and Adam think that she's a really nice girl. Offering to put herself on the block to "keep peace" was a brilliant risk, and as far as I can tell, Adam fell for it hook, line and sinker. Meanwhile, it helps her get rid of Chelsia, who's a threat to her because she's both physical and smart.
Her partner in the house, Joshuah, now has alliances or "secret" alliances with everyone in the house except Sheila. I can't help but think that this is going to come back to haunt him sooner or later. And if not, he'd be a great HG to be sitting beside at the end.
Sharon has stayed out of the fights, but has listened to both sides - and they all think that she's really supporting them. If she can successfully get rid of Nat, Ryan and/or Adam all of the physical threats are gone, because it's obvious that there's a good chance that the luckiest player in this year's game - James - has a huge target on his back. If she can see 3 of these gone, then there'll only be weak physical players in the final 4, so she can compete. If she can assure that 2 of the final 4 either don't hate her, or are part of her original alliance, then she's got an excellent chance of making it to the finals. Some people on the jury are going to hate Josh, James, Nat, Ryan and Sheila - so her odds of winning have gone right up! Her only threat would be Adam - but I think that between Adam and Sharon, she has the better chance. Good, strong and sucessful strategy so far. Not bad from someone who has a blank face and no features. With all of Alison's drama, it's Sharon that should have been the professional poker player, because she has the ultimate poker face.:)
