yeah, I saw where Ryan said he's going to try to flirt with her. I figured she was in her mid to late thirties, and at most, 40, 41. I saw Ryan ask others if anyone knew if she was married, and I was really surprised that none of the others knew.

I had heard that she's married to the President of CBS. I'm sure wikipedia has an entry on her, but I just haven't cared to look her up.

But, you'd think that if you're going to be a houseguest on BB that you might have tried to educate yourself about BB and the people that run it.

Yes, her husband is the CEO of CBS, and it was her idea to put Big Brother on American television.

If she wasn't who she was, and wasn't such an ardent fan of the series, it would never have survived it's first season, or possibly never a first season.

First thing I thought when I saw her was 'who did she sleep with to get this job' but it must be said that she is currently a quality host. The hair and makeup makes her look like a movie star, and her presentation has been well rehearsed and professional journalistic style.

She's also had an incredibly great sense of humor as the community has likened her to a Chenbot, or even less flattering accusations, but I've always felt her amatuer performace was charming and endearing as well as being unique to this show.

I would not be surprised if she was a regular feed watcher and even reads or posts on the forums (anonymously ofc), but in all sincerity I adore Julie Chen.

I'm right there with you - I thought she was pushing 50 as well. I knew that she was a long time host on the Early Show - but since I'm a Mat & Meredith gal myself, I never paid that much attention.

I hat to say it, but i too thought that she was older than that. I always thought to myself that she probably looks good for whatever age she is. Oooppps:o
