View Full Version : Why is Chelsia nom'd? Why isn't Joshua nom'd?

Just wondering how Chelsia came to be nominated. I realize that she's not the real target, supposedly.

And, I was surprised to see on the front page here that *James* suggested to Ryan that he nominate Chelsia and Sharon rather than Sharon & Sheila. What was up with that?

And, I would have bet money that Joshua would have been nom'd. He was overly nasty to several of the housemates, and esp to Amanda and Allison. I saw Evel Dick on Wednesday's House Calls saying that he couldn't believe that Ryan didn't at least stick up for his partner when Joshua went off on Allison. As ED said, if you attack my partner, you're attacking me. But, ED was dumbfounded that Ryan just sat back and watched Joshua go off on his partner. ED said he'd have been up and in Joshua's face real quick. It seems like it would have been easy to justify a nomination of Joshua based on his outbursts, and I think the whole house could have gotten behind it. It would have been a successful HOH.

But, for whatever reason Ryan didn't nom Joshua. Maybe Ryan's afraid of him. Maybe he's afraid of Joshua going off on him?

I'd like to think that Ryan has a plan to backdoor Joshua, but I read on the front page here that Ryan's plan is to nom Sheila as a veto replacement, if necessary.

What's up with Ryan and these noms? And, why the heck isn't Josh being talked about for eviction?

I think I'd have nom'd Joshua and Sharon w the target being Joshua. Maybe I'd think about backdooring Joshua. ED said today (Thurs's Housecalls) that he'd nom Joshua and Matt (due to his lying and playing both sides)

Sometimes when a HG is pretty much disliked, the HOH will pass them over, thinking that they can get them nommed at any time in the future and they will get voted out for being so disliked. That has backfired many times, though.

Sometimes the HG's want to keep the most hated player around to possibly go up against in the final. With Josh it makes sense cause I doubt he would get any votes from a jury.

I don't think Ryan wants to stir things up too much, so he took the safe route and nominated 2 women, so he wouldn't piss off the guys. By telling Chelsia she's just a pawn and apologizing to her, he staved off a lot of drama. Sharon spent so much time hibernating with Joshuah in the HoH room that she's not as connected with the other girls in there. Safe play from a guy most everybody in the house likes and feels bad for because he was stuck with Allison as a partner. If he had nominated Joshuah it would have been drama queen time.

James is all about himself, so I'm not surprised he suggested Chelsia. I think he's trying to get in good with the guys, and he didn't want them to think his relationship with Chelsia would make her off limits, so to prove that he suggested to Ryan she be nom'd.

Good call about James, but Ryan might be playing a really smart game underneath his oafish appearance.

His target is Sharon, and you don't get rid of a cunning wallflower putting her up against a drama queen. Sharon very actively has been playing the game, and quite stealthily too. She was the brains behind Joshuah's 'muscle' and nobody seems to have noticed except for one man who has twice proven himself to be 'quick on the draw'

I don't believe Sharon was really Ryan's target ~ he took the path of least resistance because he doesn't like confrontation, JMO.

If he backdoors Matty he has the majority of the house supporting him, is safe for at least 2 weeks (if all keep their promises), and gets rid of someone who is playing both sides. It's a winning move all around.

Well so much for my opinion that Ryan doesn't like confrontation! :p

He stirred up the house nicely with the James nomination ~ didn't come out of it looking like a bad guy ~ made for a fun day of watching the feeds ~ WTG Ryan!
