They should have put one (real) lipstick lesbian and one (real) androgious lesbian in there and paired them up. Like a Portia deRossi and Ellen Degeneres couple. The Showtime ratings would have been through the roof if they had gotten the chemistery right! And the feeds too.

I don't have an issue with Sheila and Allison playing gay, but I bet the producers are kicking themselves for missing the real boat! And yes, I'm a lesbian.;)

good point.. look at how well Tila Tequila's show did

maybe for BB10 this summer - they obviously aren't concerned about middle America and the moral majority etc lol

Right?? And (sadly) most people are more comfortable with two women being together than two men. Especially if the women are hot. They can't do two lipsticks though. One has to be "sporty" or the chemistry won't be there.

Still, I think it's important that we remain in the realm of reality tv...you just can't force it. An obvious setup is a disappointment when it doesn't fly, and even if it does work out the way the producers planned it nobody cares.

We'd be glued to the feeds if some of the events that happened this season had happened in other seasons, but throwing these slutty twenty somethings in the same beds is a sorry excuse for a scripted drama.

You'll be happy to know Chelsia is sweating Allison, and I'm hoping for the moment Allison and Sheila get goaded into kissing. Also, there is a very real possibility of James and Joshuah hooking up.

I think the reason more people are comfortable with two women than two men is that lesbians are for the most part ordinary women, while gay men are very often outrageously overdramatic.
