It's too bad she left. It's her choice, and entirely understandable. Certainly I've disagreed with her takes at times, but which two opinions are ever completely aligned?
At this point the comparison of her with Mystery Science Theater 3000 is apt. We basically watched her watch the show, and had more entertainment from HER reactions than the show itself gave us (at least in certain years, and ESPECIALLY this year), in my opinion.
I do think there's so much to work with here this year that it would be cool if she didn't get so caught up in the negativity and just made FUN of all the idiocy going on from the execs to the players. I mean, let's face it, there's comedy gold all around, and lots of hypocrisy silver to find, too.
But perhaps it was just a matter of too little reward for effort put in. *SOB! But the reward is the joy you give to people in their empty lives, right, Dingo? *SHAKING SOBS!! Please, come back..give my life some MEANING!!..whimper...
